My husband and I love to travel, mostly via roadtrip. We don't very often get the chance to do it, but when we do it's wonderful!
As such, a while ago we got a credit card that allows us to earn extra Hilton Honors points when we charge things to it, and it has given us the chance to stay at hotels when we normally couldn't have afforded it. One of the Hilton Hotels that we stay at the most is the Hampton brand of hotels.
So, when I found this great contest, I couldn't help but pass on the information!

Hampton is doing a contest right now called the Chain of Friends Sweepstakes. You don't need to purchase to enter - you can just go to their site (see the link above titled "Hampton chain of friends sweepstakes") and fill out the entry form. Or, if you are traveling sometime soon and want to book online, you can earn an entry by using the code "friend" or the code "cof". The final day of the contest is September 4th, so you have to do it SOON!!

What do you get the chance to win? Well, the grand prize is winning an entire hotel for a weekend (100 rooms for 2 nights) so that you and all your friends and family can stay in style! It would be a wonderful way to host a wedding, throw a family reunion, or even just have a big ol' party for your friends. The winner will also receive $5,000 to pay the tax for the weekend!

If I won the grand prize, I would probably split it into a few trips - first, a trip to Chicago to throw a party for my sister and her family and any friends we have there; then a trip to Florida to throw a party for my husband's relatives and my relatives and any friends; and then I'd throw one big party here in the Omaha area for my local family and friends. Or maybe I'd just have to stick with Omaha, lol, and have everyone travel here. ;) It would make for one great party!

Another thing I would consider doing is throwing a "Sneak Attack" party here in Omaha, then invite all my Etsy Sneakers friends. We are a group on Etsy that chooses a couple of shops a week to "Sneak Attack" by giving them lots of sales, item views, hearts, etc. all at once! We have a great time doing it, but since we are scattered all over the world we only know each other online and don't often get the chance to meet up in person. If I won the grand prize, I could invite all of them to come visit me here! We could do a laptop "Sneak Attack" using the wireless internet in the hotel, and even film a couple of short videos for our website page! I would love to show them around and take them to all sorts of fun attractions.

Even if you don't win the grand prize, they are still giving away many free night stays which would still be worth it to enter in my opinion. I would still be able to use one free night for myself! :)

The best part about this contest? It's FREE and you don't have to be a member of Hilton Honors or even have previously stayed in a Hampton hotel in order to win.
